Mediterranean Style Dark Wood Entry Door With Arched Frosted Glass and Sidelights

Overview

Design of a Colorado exterior door with farmhouse grid design for spanish colonial homes. With graphite.

Description

The door is a dark wood, possibly stained a deep brown or black. It's a five-part door system, consisting of a central door flanked by two narrow sidelights on each side. The central door features an arched top with a decorative metal grill overlaying a frosted glass pane. The sidelights are rectangular and also feature frosted glass with similar metal grillwork in a vertical pattern. The door frame is topped by a large, arched transom window with a semi-circular, fan-like metal design, also over frosted glass. The door and sidelights have raised panel detailing at the bottom. The entire door assembly is set within a white, stucco-textured archway. The architectural style suggests a Mediterranean or Spanish influence. Black, lantern-style sconces are mounted on either side of the door, and smaller, rectangular sconces are positioned below them. The entryway steps are made of stone tiles in various shades of brown and grey, with small, recessed lights illuminating the steps. A small doormat is placed in front of the door. The exterior wall appears to be painted a textured white.
