Arched Mahogany Entry Door With Sidelights and Decorative Glass Panes
Overview
Design of a Connecticut arched single with minimalist design for scandinavian homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The door is a dark wood, possibly stained mahogany or a similar hardwood with a rich brown tone. It features a rounded arch design at the top, filled with multiple panes of glass arranged in a semi-circular pattern. Below the arch, the main door has a smaller arched window with a grid of six panes. The lower portion of the door is paneled with two rectangular recessed panels. Flanking the main door are sidelights, each with a tall window above a smaller, square panel. The door frame is white, forming a prominent arch above the door and extending down as pilasters on either side. A dark bronze or black handle is mounted on the right side of the door. The exterior wall surrounding the door is covered in gray wood shingles. Two copper-colored lanterns are mounted on the wall, one on each side of the door. The entryway is paved with gray stone tiles. A rectangular doormat with a wood-grain pattern and a black diamond in the center lies in front of the door. Small evergreen shrubs are planted on either side of the entryway.
