Arched Double Door Blueprint With Grape Vine Design on Aged Paper
Overview
Design of a Connecticut wine cellar door with design for georgian homes.
Description
The door is a blueprint-style drawing on aged paper. The design features two leaves, each rectangular at the bottom and topped with an arched, semi-oval shape. The upper arched section of each door leaf is filled with an intricate, symmetrical wrought-iron-like design. This design includes stylized grape vines, leaves, and grape clusters, along with star-shaped and shield-shaped geometric elements. The lower rectangular section of each door leaf is framed by a simple, single-line border. Small, stylized grape cluster handles are positioned where the rectangular and arched sections meet. The entire door design is rendered in a dark blue line against the aged, light brown paper background. Architectural measurement notations and lines are present around the perimeter of the door drawing.
