Navy Blue Raised Panel Door With Wreath, Sidelights, and Transom Window
Overview
Design of a navy blue front door with design for georgian homes.
Description
The door is a dark blue, possibly navy or a deep shade of indigo. It has two raised panels with horizontal rectangular insets on each panel. There is a brass doorknob located in the center of the upper panel, below which is a smaller, narrower brass keyhole. A green wreath with small white flowers hangs centered on the upper panel, featuring a brass lion head knocker at its center. The door frame is white. Flanking the door are two sidelights, each divided into four rectangular panes by white mullions. Above the door is a semi-circular transom window with a decorative fan-like pattern of mullions radiating from the center. The doorframe is flanked by fluted white pilasters on either side, with a white pediment above the transom. The exterior wall to the right of the door is red brick. A green vine climbs up the left side of the doorframe. The door is set on a grey stone step.
