Arched Wrought Iron Double Door With Grape Vine Design
Overview
Design of a Hawaii wine cellar door with design for georgian homes.
Description
The door is a double door, arched at the top, made of black metal wrought iron with a clear glass backing. The wrought iron design features stylized grape vines with leaves and bunches of grapes. The door has a decorative central handle. The door is set in a stone wall with an arched stone border above the door. Flanking the stone wall are two white, round, fluted columns with square bases. The structure is topped with a white pediment. The base of the columns and the first layer of the wall are constructed of smaller, rougher stones compared to the larger, more uniform stones used in the main wall. The door is accessed by two stone steps. Tropical plants, including hibiscus, are located on either side of the steps. White lattice structures with climbing red flowering plants are visible on either side of the door.
