Arched Double Wooden Doors With Wrought Iron in Grand Stone Entryway

Overview

Design of a Kentucky wrought iron french door with mediterranean scrollwork design for spanish colonial homes. With weathered copper.

Description

The entrance features double wooden doors with an arched top, flanked by sidelights, all adorned with intricate black wrought iron scrollwork. Above the doors is a semicircular transom also filled with ornate wrought iron. The wood of the doors and sidelights has a warm, rich brown stain. The entire door assembly is set within a grand arched entryway, supported by two fluted columns with decorative capitals. The archway is painted in a light cream or off-white color. The building facade is a terracotta or peach color. Two rectangular windows are visible on either side of the door, each with a simple frame. The windows are barred with black iron. The entryway is paved with a combination of large, irregularly shaped stone tiles in varying shades of beige and brown, and a semicircular inlay of smaller, darker tiles arranged in a radial pattern. A small, dark doormat lies just inside the doors. Small, rounded bushes are planted on either side of the entryway.
