Elegant Mahogany Double Doors With Leaded Glass and Arched Transom 2
Overview
Design of a Michigan french door with minimalist design for contemporary homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The entryway features double doors made of dark stained wood, possibly mahogany or a similar hardwood. Each door has two rectangular panels with decorative, leaded glass inserts featuring geometric and floral patterns. Flanking the double doors are sidelights, also with matching leaded glass inserts. Above the doors and sidelights is a large, arched transom window, divided into numerous panes in a radiating fan pattern. The door frame is a lighter wood tone, creating a contrast with the darker doors. The arched doorway is set within a stucco wall, painted a light beige or cream color. Flanking the door are pilasters or columns topped with simple capitals. Above the arched transom is a decorative keystone element. Two sconce-style light fixtures, with dark bronze or black frames, are mounted on either side of the door, illuminating the entrance. The overall style is traditional and elegant.
