Mahogany Front Door With Sidelights and Arched Transom Window
Overview
Design of a Mississippi exterior door with modern design for modern homes. With champagne.
Description
The door is a solid, dark wood, likely mahogany or a similarly grained wood, with a smooth, polished finish. It has a vertical rectangular central panel with a simple, raised trim around its edge. Flanking the door on either side are narrow, vertical sidelights made of clear glass. The sidelights are separated from the door by a vertical wood stile of the same wood and finish as the door. Above the door and sidelights is a semi-elliptical transom window, also composed of clear glass. The wood trim around the entire door and transom assembly is a light, creamy beige color, matching the exterior trim of the house. The door handle and lock hardware are a dark metal, possibly bronze or black. The door is set within a large, arched entryway, which is a prominent architectural feature of the house.
