Arched Mahogany Double Door With Wrought Iron Grille and Mediterranean Style

Overview

Design of a Missouri arched single with asian-inspired design for spanish colonial homes. With weathered copper.

Description

A large, arched double door serves as the focal point of the building facade. The doors are constructed of wood, possibly mahogany or a similar dark-toned hardwood, and feature intricate wrought iron overlay detailing. The ironwork forms a decorative grille pattern across the surface of each door, enhancing their visual complexity. Above the doors is a matching archway, also framed with the same wrought iron design, that blends seamlessly with the doors. The door frame is set within a deep, arched recess in the building's stucco facade. The stucco is a warm, earthy tone, possibly a light terracotta or beige. Above the arched recess is a small, curved tiled roof, adding a Mediterranean architectural touch. Flanking the doorway are two decorative corbels or brackets, adding visual support to the arched roof above. On either side of the door, mounted on the stucco wall, are vintage-style lanterns or sconces. The windows are arched and feature dark frames. The overall style evokes a Mediterranean or Tuscan villa aesthetic. The walkway leading to the door is paved with large, irregularly shaped stone slabs. A small welcome mat is placed directly in front of the door.
