Arched Wood Double Doors With Decorative Glass and Iron Sidelights
Overview
Design of a Missouri double with minimalist design for spanish colonial homes. With oil-rubbed bronze.
Description
The entry features a double door system constructed from a dark, possibly stained wood. Each door panel is divided into an upper section with a decorative, multi-paned window featuring an arched top with an intersecting design, and a lower section with raised rectangular panels. The doors have long, dark handles. Flanking the doors are sidelights filled with decorative ironwork and glass panes. Above the doors and sidelights is a transom window, also divided into multiple panes by dark mullions, following the arched shape of the entrance. The entire door system is set within a recessed archway painted in a light cream color. The exterior walls are also light cream, contrasted by dark-framed windows on either side of the entrance. Black, rectangular lanterns are mounted on the walls beside the door. The entrance is accessed by stone steps and a landing paved with large stone tiles. A rectangular doormat with a geometric design lies in front of the doors.
