Ornate Gray Wood Door With Sidelights, Transom, and Decorative Metalwork
Overview
Design of a North Carolina french door with geometric pattern design for southwestern homes. With charcoal.
Description
The door is a dark gray, possibly painted wood, with decorative details. It has a rectangular shape with two vertical rectangular sidelights on either side. Each sidelight contains ornate, geometric metalwork behind glass. Above the main door is a horizontal transom window, also with decorative metalwork behind glass. The door itself is divided into three horizontal sections. The top section has a small square window and decorative metal studs arranged in a semi-circular pattern. The middle section features a square space for a door knocker and a row of metal studs. The bottom section has a row of metal studs arranged in a circular pattern. A long, curved black handle is on the right side of the door. The door is set within a dark gray frame and is sheltered by a tan archway supported by two white, classical-style columns with dark gray tops and bases. A black lantern hangs from the center of the archway. A small red and orange patterned rug is on the gray stone steps leading to the door.
