Ornate Mahogany Double Front Door With Decorative Glass and Arched Transom
Overview
Design of a North Dakota french door with partial scroll design for southwestern homes. With weathered copper.
Description
The front door is a rich, dark wood, possibly mahogany or a similar hardwood with a deep stain. It's a double-door design, with a main door in the center flanked by two narrower sidelights. Each section features ornate, decorative glass panels with geometric and floral patterns. The main door has a curved top with a similar decorative glass insert above. The door appears to have decorative metal studs or accents along the lower portion. The sidelights have a similar glass design, with an additional decorative element in the center. A large, arched transom window sits above the doors, also filled with intricate, decorative wrought iron and glasswork. The entire door assembly is framed by a dark, contrasting trim that matches the arch above. The surrounding wall is a light beige or stucco texture. Two outdoor lanterns flank the door, casting a warm light on the entrance. A patterned welcome mat lies in front of the door.
