Description

A stately dark wood door with elaborate detailing commands attention. The door consists of a central, arched panel flanked by two narrower panels on either side. Each of these panels features a glass insert overlaid with intricate wrought iron scrollwork, partially gilded in gold. The central panel has an oval glass insert, also with wrought iron detailing, and the panels below are solid wood. A decorative wrought iron transom sits above the door, also accented with gold. A substantial, light-colored stone archway frames the door, supported by fluted pilasters on either side. The door hardware is a polished gold color, including a long handle and decorative escutcheon. A matching gold kickplate spans the base of the door. The facade is painted a muted rose color. Two ornate, vintage-style lanterns flank the door, mounted on the wall. Two white, classical-style planters filled with manicured green shrubs are positioned at the base of the pilasters. A small red rug lies on the stone landing in front of the door. Windows with similar ironwork designs are visible on either side of the door.
