Black Raised Panel Front Door With Arched Transom and Sidelights
Overview
Design of a South Carolina pivot with partial scroll design for cape cod homes. With matte black.
Description
The door is a solid, dark black, possibly painted wood or composite material. It features raised rectangular panels in a symmetrical arrangement, with a larger panel at the bottom and a smaller one near the top. Above the door is a semi-circular transom window divided into panes, with a decorative wrought-iron style element above the central panes. Flanking the door are two narrow sidelight windows, also with pane divisions. The door is set within a deep, arched entryway framed in bright white trim. The archway has a keystone detail at the top. Above the arch is a peaked roof structure, painted black, which provides additional protection from the elements. The surrounding facade is white clapboard siding, and black sconces are mounted on either side of the door frame. The entrance is accessed via a walkway paved with multi-toned brick or stone pavers. A simple rectangular doormat lies in front of the door. The overall style is modern farmhouse or transitional, with a high contrast color scheme of black and white.
