Arched Mahogany Entry Door With Leaded Glass Sidelights and White Columns

Overview

Design of a South Dakota double with arabesque pattern design for victorian homes. With pure white.

Description

The door is a dark wood tone, possibly stained mahogany or walnut. It features an arched top and a central glass panel with a diamond-shaped leaded design. Flanking the main door are two narrower sidelights, each with a similar glass panel design. Above the door and sidelights is a transom window divided into smaller rectangular panes, also with leaded glass details. Above the transom is a large, arched window with an elaborate, swirling leaded glass pattern. The entire door assembly is framed by a substantial white architrave supported by two white, fluted columns. The columns have decorative capitals and bases. The surrounding wall is clad in gray horizontal siding. Two black lantern-style sconces are mounted on either side of the door frame. A small, rectangular house number plaque is visible on the right side of the door frame. A rectangular coir doormat rests on the gray stone steps leading up to the door.
