Mediterranean Double Doors With Arched Glass, Wrought Iron, and Stone Surround
Overview
Design of a South Dakota wrought iron french door with classic scrollwork design for mountain lodge homes. With antique gold.
Description
The door is a double door design, constructed from a dark brown wood, possibly mahogany or a similar hardwood. Each door panel features an arched top with decorative wrought iron detailing encased between the wood frame and glass. The wrought iron design includes scrolling elements and a central diamond-shaped motif. Above the doors is a large arched transom window, also with ornate wrought iron work in a swirling pattern. The door frame is painted a light tan color, creating a contrast with the dark wood of the doors. The architectural style is reminiscent of Mediterranean or Tuscan design. The surrounding wall is made of roughly cut stone in varying shades of beige, gray, and tan. Two sconce-style lanterns flank the doorway, and there are two small potted plants on either side of the entrance. A rectangular doormat with a dark border and a diamond design is placed in front of the doors. The flooring leading up to the door is composed of large, irregularly shaped stone slabs in shades of gray and tan.
