Overview

Design of a Tennessee single with minimalist design for georgian homes. With charcoal.

Description

The door is a dark charcoal or black color and appears to be made of wood or a wood composite. It features a raised panel design with two vertical rectangular panels on the lower half and an arched raised panel on the upper half, adorned with a circular ring knocker. The door is flanked by narrow sidelights, each divided into multiple small rectangular panes of clear glass. Above the door and sidelights is a large arched transom window, also divided into multiple panes in a sunburst or fan pattern. The door is framed by a substantial white molding that includes fluted pilasters on either side, supporting an arched pediment above the transom. The pediment features a decorative keystone element at its apex. Black wrought-iron style sconce lights are mounted on the exterior wall on either side of the door frame. The exterior wall is dark gray with horizontal siding. The entrance is accessed by a low set of stone steps leading to a small landing area in front of the door, covered with a small rectangular natural fiber mat. Green bushes are planted on either side of the steps. The hardware is a polished brass or gold color.
