Description
The door is a dark gray, almost black, three-panel design, with a large arched transom window above. Each door panel is vertically rectangular, featuring a decorative, intricate leaded glass insert in the upper portion. The main body of each panel is solid. The arched transom window is filled with a complex, radiating pattern of decorative ironwork that resembles a spiderweb or a stylized sunburst. The door has a traditional handle and lock set. The door frame and the trim around the transom window are the same dark gray color as the door. The entrance is framed by a light gray archway that extends outward from the white facade of the building. Two black sconce-style light fixtures flank the door, one on each side, mounted on the white wall. A small brown doormat sits just inside the doorway. Two potted evergreen trees, shaped in cones, stand symmetrically on either side of the door, in tall, dark gray planters. The entrance is elevated by two steps, the lower step paved with gray bricks and the upper step lined with small decorative stones.
